In recent past the academy has successfully conducted the following short duration training programs:

On the demand requirement of the public and private sectors of tourism, apart from successfully running the above-mentioned postgraduate and graduate level courses in tourism management, the academy has successfully conducted the following short duration courses in the recent past.

A six days training training titled Immigration Works & Tourism for the officials of the Department of Immigration, His Majestys Government of Nepal at Nepal Tourism Board.

A seven days training titled Lodge Management Training for local lodge operators at sigati, ‘a remote mountain village in Dolakha district of Nepal on request of INGO Eco-Himal.

A five days training titled Sustainable Tourism Development and Management for the staff and officials of MGs Ministry of Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation, Tourism for Rural Poverty Alleviation Programme and Nepal Tourism Board at the academy.

A seven days training / workshop titled Teachers Training for Higher Secondary Level Hotel Management Subject on the chairmanship of the principal of the aademy was conducted by the academy on the request of Government of Nepal Higher Secondary Education Board, Sano Thimi. Bhaktapur, Nepal.

A six days training titled Sustainable Tourism Development and Management for the staff and officials of HMGs Ministry of Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation, Tourism for Rural Poverty Alleviation Programme and NepalTourism Board at the academy

A five days training titled Basic Hospitality and Tourist Relations for youths of Bhairahawa entry point who were already engaged in dealing with the tourist on arrival.
