Course Program Objectives

Course Program composotion

The program consists of eight semesters, each lasting six months, totaling 147 credits. A credit hour is equivalent to 30 hours of coursework. In addition to classroom instruction, the credits also encompass various learning activities, such as reading, understanding printed materials, listening to audio, watching videos, attending counseling sessions, and completing assignments.
The BTTS course program is designed to equip students with a strong foundation for careers in the travel and tourism industry. By exploring the diverse services offered by today’s travel and tourism sector, the program provides the necessary business knowledge and skills for success in both the private and public sectors. Upon successful completion, graduates will be qualified to pursue careers in tourism and have the option to continue their education with advanced studies in travel and tourism.

PROJECT REPORT (ELECTIVE)

  • TEACHING METHODOLOGY
The curriculum incorporates a variety of learning methods, including classroom lectures and tutorials supported by audiovisual aids like PowerPoint presentations, videos, and overhead projectors. Practical learning experiences such as case studies with assignments, industrial orientations, field trips, excursions to relevant establishments, and workshops, seminars, and talks held regularly are also included. Students are required to complete a 60-day industrial practice to gain hands-on experience. In the seventh semester, they must undertake a six-month internship. Additionally, students are expected to present seminar papers, prepare project reports, and participate in industrial visits.
The program is taught by highly experienced and qualified faculty members with extensive national and international experience. They are dedicated, energetic professionals who possess the knowledge and skills necessary for effective management and operation in both the private and public sectors of tourism.
